Our Open Metal Seals are used on Steel Strapping, and in conjunction with manual strapping tools. To use, simply place the seal around the steel strapping you wish to secure. Then seal with one of our Steel Strapping Sealers. Any of our Steel Strapping Sealers works in conjunction with this seal.

Product Information

These open metal seals are made from galvanised steel. These seals are compatible with oscillated or ribbon wound steel strapping. Make sure that the seals and the steel strapping are the same width. 

Steel strapping is known to be one of the strongest strapping solutions on the market allowing to bundle extremely heavy items for transit or storage. Breaking strain for steel strapping ranges from 530kg to 2040kg. These seals are designed to stabilise your pallet load by increasing steel straps tension with a firm, long-lasting grip. Simply position the seal against the overlapped ends of your steel strapping, before folding the protruding ends of the seal down with a strapping sealer or combination tool.
